Background
There are a number of developments currently taking place on this front. The common theme is that of enabling people to be more self-reliant, giving them tools to address common financial problems and thereby improve their financial situation.
The biggest single problem for most businesses right now is typically cash
And banks are focused more than ever on the cash flow of their clients. This means they are increasingly keen to understand if your business has and / or is likely to, generate cash or absorb (i.e lose) it by analysing your numbers on their software. And judgements as to the extent of their support arte made accordingly.
Now on the one hand, bankers are finance professionals; entrepreneurs, on the other hand, are often not. But in the current climate, when banks have less cash to lend, it is extremely important that you can demonstrate a savvy grasp of your business's cashflow irrespective of your background or area of expertise.
We have spent considerable time now, developing software to help businesses get a better feel for their cash flow. and try to ensure they track the right things.
Current status
We are undertaking testing of our first product release. And we have just secured the services of a specialist programmer to oversee this. We have identified various (feels like endless!) issues that are steadily being resolved which have added further to the already untold delays we have experienced. As a result we have missed numerous target date for the release of the first of what we plan to be many applications. Sick of false dawns a new release date will only be announced once a working version is physically in our hands. So please keep checking from time to time.
