BOTTOM LINE IMPACT - OUR BACKGROUND

Colin Fittall and Brian Warnes started working together in 1998 with an incisive approach to gauging financial issues and resolving cash flow and profit pressures. This combined with an ability to explain what was happening and why, in terms entrepreneurs and managers alike (whatever their background) could understand.

With the initial focus on businesses experiencing challenging times, they were able to bring an unusual degree of clarity and certainty about what needed to happen and the best way of bringing it about - often able to plot a way through difficulties where others could not.

This hands-on turnaround work has continued over the years and has served to reinforce how critical it is for those in key positions within a business to develop an intuitive feel for the numbers.

Perhaps because of this considerable exposure to real-life, problem situations, Colin and Brian have been able to bring an unusually practical dimension to their financial training that has proved invaluable to those they have worked with.  Combined with highly visual material, quizes, calculations and a vast array of (suitably anonymitised) case studies, it's an interactive approach that seems to engage with people regardless of their precise role or financial circumstances of their business.

As a result, the training side has evolved to become a key part of their work with a customised offering delivered only to individual businesses (or individuals) with scope to illustrate key points using clients' own figures (should they choose to do so).   

Over the years their work has grown to embrace financial issues arising in both commerical businesses and social enterprises (ably assisted with the latter by their Associate, Maurice Price).
